Kennerly Bast, DVM, is an emergency veterinarian at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Rock Hill.

Professional Accomplishments
Dr. Bast was accepted to the University of Missouri after her third year at Clemson. She received a USDA Fellowship Scholarship to attend Mizzou. After veterinary school, Dr. Bast returned home to South Carolina.
She worked as a general practitioner for one year and then helped open an emergency veterinary hospital in Columbia, SC. She was a shelter veterinarian for South Carolina’s largest no-kill shelter. Dr. Bast also has experience as an urgent care veterinarian. She is very happy to join the team at Carolina Veterinary Specialists and to be serving clients in the Matthews/Charlotte area.
In her free time, Dr. Bast is rehabilitating her family’s farmhouse. She also enjoys her menagerie of pets. She loves attending live theater and music events with her family.
